I was looking forward to this story because apart from the fact that this is one of my favorite series, it is the final installment of the series, and it far exceeded all my expectations. I loved the story too much, the characters, the story owned my soul and mind, it consumed me, the author made me addicted to her words from the first pages.

Darren and Charlene are the most mysterious couple of the whole series, they had me with so many questions, always so mysterious, making hypotheses, and developing theories. I finally got all the answers I wanted.

Both characters are deeply wounded, they fight with their demons. Their stories, wow, left me in shock, but what really surprised me is the way Darren cares about Charlene, the way he protects and cares for her, he had me sighing tirelessly, the way he loves her, so intensely and unconditionally, gahhhhh, he's so PERFECT, he's my new favorite Pucked boy and my new book boyfriend. (SUSPIRE AND SUSPIRE)

In addition both characters complement each other so perfectly, their bond is deep despite what they appear, their relationship is intense and sweet, both characters are so broken and are so vulnerable that they do not want to allow themselves to love, nor form stable relationships, At certain times they both looked like children, their emotional innocence is so heartbreaking that it made me tear more than once.

And let's not forget the other girls and boys of the series, in certain scenes they had me laughing out loud, I love their friendship, so loyal and sincere, so true, that is one of the things that always stands out in this series.

Definitely this story is by far very different from what I imagined, it is SO PERFECT, SWEET, SEXY, EMOTIONAL, FUN, ADDICTIVE, that made me laugh out loud, cry, sigh, blush, and smile.
This is definitely one of the best hockey stories and definitely my favorite of the series, I want to cry because I do not want it to end, this Pucked family took my heart and keeps a special place in it.

Applause for the author who once again gives us a masterpiece. A MUST READ!

I am not going to lie. I am not familiar with this series. I mean, I know that it exists, but I hadn't read any of the books in this series until now. Now I need to go back and read the others.

I will tell you right off the bat... this book is funny! I hadn't laughed like that in a while. I got dirty looks and eye rolls from my family a few times while I was reading this book.

I loved the characters in this story. I am pretty mad at myself for not reading any of the previous books in this series. I think I would have loved them even more had I read the others, but that didn't take away from me enjoying getting to know Charlene and Darren.

This book moved quickly for me. I started it, then next thing I knew, it was ending. Between the laughs, the ups and downs, and the laughs, I am not sure how I couldn't fall in love with this story. The author has done an extraordinary job at writing a sweet and entertaining story. It's definitely a book I will highly recommend.
Helena Hunting writes outstanding romances. I’ve loved every book that I’ve read by her but I won’t lie, I have my favorites, and the Pucked series is it. I can say without a doubt that each of the Pucked books rates as a 5-star read for me and I love that Helena writes such witty, sexy, entertaining romances. I am a huge hockey buff so that’s how I stumbled upon the author several years back. At the time, the Pucked series only had two books, but I binge read them and everything I could get my hands on that Helena had written. Then I preordered each and every book thereafter.

Pucked Love is the sixth and final book in the Pucked Series. I’m so sad for this moment as all of these characters have lived in my heart for years now, but Helena Hunting is sending readers off on a beautiful note. Pucked Love is Darren and Charlene's romance, and it’s been in the making since the very beginning when Alex and Violet got together. It’s a kicka$$ story that left me with all the feels. Darren and Charlene are both intensely private and unlike their friends, their relationship was slow to grow. The mystery that surrounds their relationship has become a bit of a joke amongst their circle of friends, but Pucked Love gives readers the inside look at all the sweet and sexy moments as only Helena Hunting delivers. With her benchmark verve and humor, Helena Hunting writes a romance that is equal parts fictitious and yet believable. And Darren stole my heart with his sweetness. He’s such an aloof character in the previous stories and getting into his innermost thoughts in Pucked Love made all the difference in the world. It’s the whole never judge a book by its cover scenario because Darren—and Charlene for that matter—are very deep characters who’ve lived very traumatic lives. Most authors I read would have made this book far more angsty, but Helena Hunting injects the perfect blend of fun and games to lighten the overall mood of the story without making it a rom-com.

“As much as I want things to change, one thing I want to keep her away from is my family, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to do that forever. Which is exactly how long I want to keep Charlene.”

Just like with each book I’ve read by Helena Hunting, Pucked Love sucked me straight in and kept my attention. I loved the plot and just when I was sure I knew how the book would end, Helena Hunting threw those beliefs out the window. ALL of the characters, both primary and secondary, will have you laughing, crying, and snorting at some point in the series… a fact that I had forgotten since this is the first year I haven’t reread the books multiple times because of my blogging responsibilities. Each book can be read as a standalone, however, to fully appreciate the stories I would stress that reading them in order is best. I promise once you pick up on of these books, you won’t stop reading until you’ve read them all… binge reading Helena Hunting’s books is the only way to go 😊 And be prepared, they are humorous to the point of stomach champs and sexy enough to send you in search of a cold shower, your spouse or B.O.B!!! 😉
